2018 and 2019 Kusuda Pinot Noir (Martinborough) are ultra‑precise, low‑yield, Burgundy‑inspired New Zealand Pinots, made by Hiro Kusuda with fanatical berry‑by‑berry selection and tiny production (only a few thousand bottles). 2018 tends to be a touch riper and more seductive; 2019 is finer, fresher and more tightly focused in structure.
