2022 Yura R1

Yura 2022R1 is a focused, dry Riesling from Jintaro Yura’s micro‑estate in southern Alsace, expressing crystalline fruit and limestone tension. Sourced from organically farmed parcels on limestone and sandstone, it is fermented spontaneously with native yeasts and minimal added SO₂, preserving precision and aromatic clarity. The nose offers lime zest, citrus peel, white flowers and crushed stone, with a hint of reduction that lifts with air. On the palate, 2022R1 is linear, salty and tightly coiled, its bright acidity and mineral drive making it ideal for shellfish, ceviche and lightly spiced Asian dishes.
