1986 Charles Mortet & Fils Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is a fully mature Burgundy Pinot Noir, now all about tertiary character rather than fruit. Expect preserved dark fruits, dried rose, earth, undergrowth, tobacco leaf and savoury spice, with resolved tannins and a mellow, gently fading finish.
