2022 Lou Dumont Bourgogne Aligoté “par Koji et Jae Hwa” shows a slightly deeper, more mellow profile than its younger counterparts, while retaining Aligoté’s trademark freshness. Notes of lemon oil, ripe green apple and pear mingle with almond, white flowers and a light buttery nuance from bottle age. The palate is medium‑bodied and silky, with rounded acidity and a gentle, savoury, almost hazelnut complexity framing the citrus‑driven core. A subtle chalky, saline note brightens the finish and keeps it very drinkable. This vintage is particularly well suited to richer seafood, roast chicken, comté or Japanese izakaya dishes.
