2023 Guilbert Gillet Savigny-lès-Beaune Aux Petits Liards VV

From the heart of Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, Guilbert Gillet’s 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune Aux Petits Liards Vieilles Vignes is a single-site Pinot Noir with a particularly compelling old-vine heritage. The cuvée draws on vines planted in 1936 in the clay soils of Aux Petits Liards, a south-facing site below the premier cru Aux Gravains. 

Established in 2020, Domaine Guilbert-Gillet represents Benjamin Guilbert’s carefully considered approach to Burgundy, developed after training and experience across several major wine regions. Working from Savigny-lès-Beaune, the domaine has built its range around individual parcels and the character each brings to the glass.

The estate’s Japanese importer describes this cuvée through ripe fruit, a smooth texture and a balance of acidity and tannin. These qualities make it an appealing choice for drinkers exploring the depth that old vines can bring to village Burgundy.
